Time Flies...

Just a short entry as its been a heck of a long day, but we have finally arrived. We caught the train to the city in the wee small hours of this morning and after a long journey we boarded our plane at 7.30 am.

It was a terribly long flight. We stopped at several airports to refuel and take on mail etc. but  the down time was so short we just stayed on the plane. We stood up, stretched a bit and walked around whenever we could. MrD was either engrossed in his book or snoozing for most of the way. 

I myself buried myself in my knitting.. and now and again would film the world outside the window. You know.. this cine camera that MrD bought me for Christmas last year must be one of the best gifts he's ever bought me.

Eventually we arrived in Portland Oregon and were able to get off the plane for an hour...and have a walkabout. A fresh brewed coffee and sandwich helped too. Then it was back on the plane and we arrived at Spokane at 6.30 this evening where we were met by Brother Jay and our sister in law.

We had a lovely supper and catch-up but both MrD and I are so exhausted that we are now in bed and hubby is already snoring away. We have a big day tomorrow so we need all the rest we can get
