- Cream the fat and add the sugar gradually.
- Add the honey and mix thoroughly.
- Beat the eggs and add to the creamed mixture.
- Add melted and slightly cooled chocolate.
- Mix well.
- Sift flour before measuring and then sift the flour, soda, and salt together.
- Add the sifted ingredients and nuts to the first mixture.
- Pour into a greased 9×9 inch square pan.
- Bake at 300°F for 55 minutes.
