Preparing for Fall

 This week all thoughts are turning towards Autumn and resetting our home with warm cosy colours to reflect the coming season. 

In the bedroom it didn't take much.. just an extra Fall blanket  and some pretty flowers

 which I picked from our garden.

But I did think these growing in our neighbours yard were rather lovely too

Its still a bit too warm for soups, stews and casseroles but a lovely corned beef pie for dinner did feel a bit Autumn like... especially served with some of my lovely home pickled beets.

Now all we need is cooler weather..
